20 Years' Experience Supporting PeopleWith Autism Spectrum Conditions
"Marie is a fantastic coach - she provides a non-judgmental space for me to work through PhD thinking"
I am Marie, an experienced specialist mentor supporting neurodivergent students (autism, ADHD) who are in receipt of the Disabled Students Allowance. I have successfully helped many students studying at numerous universities throughout the UK. I cover the Midlands, but have found many students prefer the convenience and flexibility that online 1:1 support offers - so cover all of the UK.
As a former successful university student myself, who is neurodivergent, I am able to resonate with students due to my very real experience of all the challenges it entails. It allows me to offer very practical and realistic support which very quickly makes the student feel understood and positive about the challenges being a student presents.
If you are a DSA needs assessor, then please contact me for further information.

I am an approved NMH supplier, listed on the Student Finance England NMH Supplier List - managed and owned by the Department of Education.

I have over 20 years’ experience supporting a wide range of adults on the autism spectrum, and have a good overall understanding of the stress and anxiety which is often a part of day-to-day life for people with neurodiverse conditions - including ADHD and dyslexia.
I regularly engage in Continued Professional Development (CPD) to stay current with research and further develop my practice in the area of autism and other neurodiverse conditions.
I meet that standards required by Student Finance England and Disabled Students Allowance. More information can be accessed here.
In additions to my degree and post graduate studies, I have also undertaken numerous training courses in various areas related to my field - as I feel self development is invaluable in order to get the most out of both myself and the persons I support.

My training includes the National Autistic Society modules (Understanding Autism; Autism and Communication: Autism and Sensory Experience; Autism, Stress and Anxiety; Autism: Supporting families; Autism: Women & girls).
